An enormous bar runs down one whole side. A partial brick wall splits the gaming machines from the dining room. Older couples at an early dinner, a few guys with an after-work beer — and everyone says hello.
Atmosphere
Corrugated steel above the bar, varnished pub tables, low ceilings that keep it cozy on a cold night.
Sports
Big screens throughout — usually a few games on at once. Four video gaming machines just inside the door.
On Tap
Eight beers on tap, Gray's IPA among them. In winter, ask about the Tom & Jerry — nutmeg and all.
Friday Fish Fry
Two-piece cod, crispy outside, flaky inside. Get the potato pancakes.
Pepper Jack Curds
Golden brown, not over-battered, side of ranch.
Hilltop Burger
Brioche bun, bacon, cheese, fried pickle chips. Curly fries on the side.
Italian Beef
Grilled hoagie, melted cheese, peppers. Fried green beans + chipotle mayo.
BLT on Texas Toast
Buttery grilled toast, plenty of bacon. Make it a basket with sweet potato fries.
